Come and focus on your Istanbul experience with the guidance of a widely-published author, experienced writing teacher and Istanbul resident, in an intimate group of like-minded people.
A *one day* workshop in English for travellers or residents led by Inez Baranay
Yazane will provide us with a starting point for observation, reflection, discussion and writing. Take the time to focus attention on your Istanbul experience, put it into words, be stimulated to fresh observations, and be supported in your writing practice.
The workshop has a limit of eight people.
Inez is a widely-published writer (eleven books, including Always Hungry and With The Tiger and many short stories and essays). "I’ve taught Creative Writing in various environments since 1989. These include schools, universities, and community groups, in Australia, Europe and India. I am always learning, always developing, and always responding to the particular needs of the moment." Inez Baranay.

This event is to be held in Yazane Coworking Space located at Karakoy, the trendy neighborhood in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul, one of the oldest and most historical areas in the city.
Designed in a contemporary style, 'Yazane' has a unique view of the bosphorus and the historical peninsula. Chosen as Istanbul's new hotspot by The Guardian, Karaköy is booming with its galleries, restaurants, coffee shops, design shops and boutique hotels.
Yazane is within walking distance of the ferry terminal, tram, subway and bus stations. A private parking area is also available opposite of building entrance.
